ABOUT WALKING THE WALK

We would love to spend the afternoon and evening with you as you #ShareYourColour with our RARE community and your loved ones. We’ll have activities for kids to enjoy, snacks and beverages from various vendors available as well as a beautiful 3km walk for us to do together.

WHERE WE WALKING?

This year the theme for Rare Disease Day is “ShareYourColours” and we would love the public to help us light up the night by wearing their denims and funkiest neon gear.

Bring your headlamps and torches and head down one of two routes – The 1.5km route is wheelchair friendly or there is a 2.5km route for the more enthusiastic.

Live Life Events will be running a moonlight market alongside the Denim Walk by Night, offering a host of food and craft vendors, so bring your picnic blankets and deck chairs, and join us for a night under the stars.

We’re calling on patients, caregivers, individuals, ambassadors, schools, influencers, and corporate partners to partake in this event.
